Performing Arts
Performing Arts for Stage Camp is a hands-on creative experience where kids work together to build a stage performance from the ground up! Over the course of the week, campers explore storytelling, movement, music, writing, and design; discovering how a production comes together both on stage and behind the scenes. With meaningful roles for every interest, kids collaborate both indoors and outdoors on an awe-inspiring 12 acre Rocky Mountain property. Lead by life-long thespian Coach Angelina, who creates an environment of comfort, safety, exploration, and limitless fun! Kids thrive in expressing themselves and learning to hold space for others to do the same. It’s quite entertaining! The camp will culminate in an original stage performance presented for family and friend. Every camper has a special role and a voice in this collaborative, high-energy week of creativity and performance!
At Performing Arts Camp, campers will:
- Explore Acting & Storytelling: Bring characters to life through creative storytelling, improvisation, and performance. Campers will build confidence, stage presence, and self-expression while learning how stories are shaped for the stage.
- Sing, Move & Perform: Through music and choreography, campers will experiment with singing and movement as tools for expression. Whether performing front and center or supporting the action on stage, everyone contributes to the magic.
- Discover the World Behind the Scenes: Theater is more than just performing! Campers will explore costume design, set creation, show programs, and stage production, gaining hands-on experience in the many roles that make a performance possible.
- Collaborate as a Creative Team: Working together is at the heart of theater. Campers will practice teamwork, communication, and problem-solving as they collaborate to build a complete stage production from start to finish.
- Create & Perform a Full Stage Show: Over the course of one exciting week, campers will work together to create an original stage performance. The experience culminates in a final show where every camper’s contribution—on stage and behind the scenes—comes together for family and friends.
Every camper plays a meaningful role in bringing the show to life at Performing Arts for Stage Camp. Through creativity, teamwork, and performance, kids grow confidence, make new friends, and experience the joy of creating something unforgettable—together!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional Extended Hours: Campers can stay until 4:00 PM for an additional $10.00 (Open Gym)
Rate: $375 per week
Age: 5 to 15 years (Campers will be grouped by age and skill level)
