Archery & Medieval Melee
Step into a world of adventure and chivalry at Archery & Medieval Melee Camp, where campers will train like knights and archers of old! This action-packed camp combines the precision and skill of archery with the exciting, adrenaline-pumping world of medieval combat. Whether you’re aiming for the bullseye or wielding a foam sword in a friendly melee battle, this camp will transport you into the heart of a medieval quest for glory.
At Archery & Medieval Melee Camp, campers will:
- Master Archery Skills: Learn the ancient art of archery, from proper stance and technique to hitting moving targets and engaging in friendly archery competitions. Campers will refine their aim, focus, and precision under the guidance of expert archery instructors.
- Engage in Medieval Melee Combat: Suit up in protective gear and train in safe, foam sword fighting techniques. Campers will learn swordplay, shield work, and basic combat moves, as well as the strategy and teamwork required to win a medieval melee battle!
- Build Confidence & Focus: Both archery and melee combat require patience, discipline, and concentration. Through training, campers will improve their focus, resilience, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience Medieval Challenges: Participate in exciting medieval-themed games and obstacle courses, like castle sieges, target challenges, and knightly tournaments, that will test both individual skills and teamwork.
- Create Your Own Knightly Identity: Campers can customize their sword and shield, design their own knightly persona, and get into character for the ultimate medieval experience.
- Teamwork & Strategy: In both archery challenges and melee battles, teamwork is key. Campers will learn to collaborate with their fellow knights, developing leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Medieval Tournament Day: The week culminates in a grand medieval tournament, where campers will put their archery and combat skills to the test in an exciting series of challenges, culminating in the crowning of the Camp Champion!
Archery & Medieval Melee Camp is perfect for kids who love history, adventure, and the thrill of friendly competition. Whether you’re looking to perfect your aim, learn the art of medieval combat, or simply have fun in a fantastical world of knights and archers, this camp will bring out the hero in you!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional Extended Hours: Campers can stay until 4:00 PM for an additional $10.00 (Open Gym)
Rate: $375 per week
Age: 5 to 15 years (Campers will be grouped by age and skill level)
