Horses & The Art of Make-up 8+
Time to put on your cowboy hats and lipstick for Horses & The Art of Make-up Camp, where creativity meets the beauty of nature! This unique camp blends the world of horse lovers with the glamour of makeup artistry. Campers will spend their days learning about horses—how to care for them, play with them, and bond with these majestic animals—while also exploring the exciting world of makeup, face and body painting, self-expression, and creativity.
Please Note: This is not a traditional horse riding camp. While there may be some riding opportunities, the focus of this camp is on building connections with horses through grooming, care, and other activities on the ground, combined with exciting makeup artistry lessons.
At Horses & The Art of Make-up Camp, campers will:
- Bond with Horses: Learn the basics of horse care, grooming, and facts about horses. Campers will get hands-on experience, discovering how to interact with horses, build trust, and develop their animal communication skills in a safe and supportive environment.
- Master Makeup Techniques: Explore the world of makeup artistry, from creating natural looks to bold, artistic designs. Campers will learn everything from foundation and contouring to eye makeup and special effects, all while developing their own creative style.
- Combine Art & Horses: Get creative by incorporating your newfound makeup skills into equestrian-themed looks! Campers can design and create stunning horse makeup or facial art, drawing inspiration from the colors and beauty of the animals around them.
- Confidence & Self-Expression: Both working with horses and experimenting with makeup help build confidence, self-expression, and individuality. Campers will learn how to express themselves through makeup, while developing a sense of connection and empathy with their horse partners.
- Teamwork & Responsibility: Whether it’s taking care of the horses, collaborating on makeup projects, or helping fellow campers, teamwork and responsibility are key parts of the experience. Campers will learn to care for animals and support each other’s creative ideas.
- Horses & The Art of Makeup Photoshoot: At the end of the week, campers will use their imagination to create a final look, showcasing their skills with their new four-legged friends. Presenting their makeup designs and sharing what they’ve learned will be compiled into a video reel to last a lifetime!
Horses & The Art of Make-up Camp is perfect for kids who love animals, art, and self-expression. Whether you’re passionate about horses, makeup, or both, this camp will ignite your creativity, boost your confidence, and create unforgettable memories!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional Extended Hours: Campers can stay until 4:00 PM for an additional $10.00 (Open Gym)
Rate: $375 per week
Age: 8 to 15 years (Campers will be grouped by age and skill level)
