Performing Arts for Film
Lights, camera, action! Step into the world of film production at Performing Arts for Film Camp, where creativity, performance, and film-making collide. Whether you dream of starring in a movie, directing a scene, or learning the behind-the-scenes magic, this camp is the perfect place to hone your craft and bring your vision to life.
At Performing Arts for Film Camp, campers will:
- Act for the Camera: Learn essential on-screen acting techniques from delivering lines with emotion to working with directors and fellow actors. Gain confidence in front of the camera and bring characters to life!
- Explore Filmmaking: Discover the basics of film production, including scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, and editing. Experience firsthand what it takes to make a movie from start to finish!
- Create A Short Film: Collaborate with your camp director, Angelina, and fellow campers to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Every camper will have the chance to act, direct, or help produce the project, showcasing their talents and interests.
- Express Yourself: Whether you’re passionate about drama, comedy, action, costumes, make-up, set design, camera operating, or editing, this camp gives you the creative freedom to explore different aspects of performance and film-making.
- Showcase Your Work: At the end of the week, celebrate your hard work with a film screening where you and your fellow campers can showcase your creation for friends and family.
From acting and directing to production and editing, Performing Arts for Film Camp is your opportunity to shine in the world of film! Whether you’re an aspiring actor or a future director, this camp is the perfect place to start your cinematic journey.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional Extended Hours: Campers can stay until 4:00 PM for an additional $10.00 (Open Gym)
Rate: $375 per week
Age: 5 to 15 years (Campers will be grouped by age and skill level)
